Postdoctoral Associate — Bioinformatics and Data Science — Stites Laboratory
The Stites laboratory utilizes a variety of computational, mathematical, and experimental methods to study problems in cancer and disease biology.
The Stites laboratory would like to hire one new computational postdoctoral fellow to focus on the lab’s funded work combining genomic data with other forms of data. This project builds on the lab’s earlier work combining cancer genomics with cancer epidemiology (Mendiratta G et al, Nature Communications, 2021).
Requirements for the position include a doctoral degree, strong programming and data analysis skills, one or more first author research publications, and the ability to take the lead on one or more major research projects in partnership with the laboratory PI.

The standard Yale salary for postdoctoral fellows is $68,500 for a first year postdoctoral fellow, but higher salaries are possible based on previous experience and strong credentials, in accordance with Yale’s postdoctoral compensation policies: https://postdocs.yale.edu/postdocs/being-a-postdoc-at-yale/postdoctoral-compensation
