Student Loan Deferment
Here’s the updated, professional paragraph with a direct link to the deferment form:
Some student loans from U.S. lending institutions may qualify for payment deferment during your postdoctoral training; however, deferment decisions are made by your loan provider, not by Yale University. If your lender offers deferment options, you may request a deferment form directly from them or download one from the Federal Student Aid Forms Library and submit the completed form to the Office for Postdoctoral Affairs at postdoc.affairs@yale.edu. Please note that Yale cannot sign forms requiring certification of student enrollment, as postdoctoral associates are not enrolled students. For more information on Loan Deferments, please visit the Federal Student Aid Site - Student Loan Deferment.
