Before you can be officially hired at Yale and granted access to your Net ID and Yale email, the academic unit overseeing your appointment must confirm your arrival with the Office for Postdoctoral Affairs.
Per OPA policy, confirmation of arrival must clearly indicate that the individual is physically present in New Haven or elsewhere in Connecticut and is ready to begin work. Please note that simply stating a residential address, indicating residency in Connecticut, or mentioning future arrival plans does not meet the criteria for confirmation of arrival.
The appointment cannot be finalized until arrival confirmation has been received.
