Registration
Postdoc Orientation is your guide to a successful Yale experience and will highlight the most important things you need to know as you start your training. Orientation is not only useful and fun, it’s mandatory! We offer orientation monthly, except for the month of December. Orientation is usually held on the third Thursday of the month from 10am-11:15am. Postdocs who arrive in December should register for the January orientation session.

After you register, no confirmation email will be sent. We will send you a reminder a day before your session and will include additional information. Check your spam or junk mail folder if you do not see a reminder message from us. If you need to cancel/change your orientation date please e-mail Victoria Hallinan (victoria.hallinan@yale.edu).
Schedule & Location
Though there may be some slight variations in terms of time and locatin, orientation typically takes place on the third Thursday of the month from 10:00am-11:15am. Precise dates and locations are posted as they are confirmed. Currently participants have the option to either join in person or via Zoom. If joining via Zoom, one day prior to orientation we will send you a link to access the live online event. Please download Zoom software from the Yale Software Library prior to attending orientation.

Postdoc orientation is open only to Postdoctoral Associates and Postdoctoral Fellows. Other individuals including Laboratory Associates, Visiting Fellows, Clinical Fellows, Associate Research Scientists, and Postgraduate Associates or Fellows are ineligible to attend.
