What resources exist for postdocs stranded in other countries (resources at Yale and beyond Yale)?

Answer:

All postdocs have access to Yale’s online resources, including the library, from anywhere in the world. Download Cisco VPN Anyconnect from the Yale Software Library in order to connect to the Yale network remotely. Events from the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning and the Office of Career Strategy are also available remotely, and OCS is still available for one-on-one consultations. Email careerstrategy@yale.edu to make an appointment. Emergency medical and mental health assistance are available via Yale’s International SOS Global Travel Assistance program. Lastly, all postdocs should be in frequent communication with their faculty mentors.
