How can I commute to lab for essential research without a car or bike now that shuttles are shut down?

Answer:

The loss of the Yale shuttle system has been a great inconvenience for the clinicians and researchers who are still required to come to campus. It is not clear if or when limited shuttle service will be re-established, and we will post any updates we receive. The local public bus system (CT Transit) is still available, and their schedules are posted at https://www.cttransit.com. Also see the recent CT Transit announcement about safety measures in place for riders. Uber and Lyft are also still in operation. Lastly, New Haven has several bike shops that repair, rent, and/or sell bikes. Bike shops are considered an essential CT service provider and have not been required to close.
