Research Positions (Post-doc or ARS) in the Department of Immunobiology

Two research positions (Postdoctoral or Associate Research Scientist) will be available on July 1, 2024, in the laboratory of Dr. Jordan Pober. The Pober lab group works in the area of human immune-mediated vascular and tissue injury. One project is focused on control of IL-15 trans-presentation by human endothelial cells to lymphocytes in the context of transplantation of solid organs. A second project is focused on characterizing and comparing different T cell populations present in biopsies of human inflammatory diseases of the intestine.

We seek applicants with specific skills in cell and organ cultures and in high dimensional, high resolution spatial analysis of tissues for application to human disease mechanisms. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in immunology.

The Pober Lab is a small group housed within Yale’s Vascular Biology and Therapeutics (VBT) program within the Amistad Building and extensively collaborates with other groups within the Immunobiology Department and Yale’s Human and Translational Immunology program. Researchers are expected to participate in seminars, annual retreats and other relevant programs within and outside of the Yale School of Medicine.

Interested applicants should e-mail a brief statement of research interests, curriculum vitae and contact information for three references to Dr. Jordan Pober (jordan.pober@yale.edu)
