€ The Brown-Coxe Fellowships support new postdoctoral fellows
conducting research at the Yale University School of Medicine.
€ Candidates must have received the MD, PhD, or other doctoral degree by July 1, 2015.
€ Applicants cannot have completed more than two years of postdoctoral research as of July 1, 2015.
€ Investigators in all disciplines conducting basic, translational, or clinical research are eligible for this fellowship.
(Licensed) physician-scientists are encouraged to apply.

-A team of Yale graduate students has entered the NIH Neuro Startup Challenge as Anthos Pharma. The team has been admitted to the Venture Creation Program at Yale, secured funding and outstanding mentorship that includes a former Pfizer executive, a venture capital investment manager, and an entrepreneur whose first company recently received two FDA approvals. The team has progressed to the second round of the competition and is seeking a post-doctoral scientist with business/consulting experience.

-The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) is pleased to offer travel awards for postdoctoral scholars to attend our 13th Annual Meeting, which will be held in Baltimore, Maryland, March 13 - 15, 2015. The awards will first cover registration and lodging and then travel expenses up to the limit of the award. Award amounts will vary, but the maximum amount awarded will be $1,000.
Awards will be competitively allocated and limited to one per institution. The number of awards granted will depend on the estimated cost of each application, and the amount of funds raised by the NPA. Applicants are strongly encouraged to seek matching funds from their institutions and to include that information in their applications.

-Society in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship
Society in Science – The Branco Weiss Fellowship is a unique postdoc program. It awards young researchers around the world with a generous personal research grant, giving them the freedom to work on whatever topic they choose anywhere in the world, for up to five years. This research fellowship is designed to support postdoctoral researchers after their PhD and before their first faculty appointment. Those in current postdoctoral positions are also eligible. -The Simons Collaboration on the Global Brain (SCGB) seeks applicants for postdoctoral fellowships whose intended work is at the interface of theory and experiment on the nature, role and mechanisms of the neural activity that produces cognition. Of particular interest is work that emphasizes the recording and perturbation of population neural data at cellular resolution and the application of advanced statistical analysis and modeling to such data.
