The Yale Entrepreneurial Institute is calling for submissions related to the Internet of Things to attract the best ideas related to utilizing “smart” technologies and supporting and accelerating two of those ideas with $10,000 in funding and access to mentors and experts through admittance into YEI’s Venture Creation Program. *All Yale faculty, postdocs, researchers and Yale alumni are eligible to apply. For scientists with the PhD:

  1. Letters of Intent Due:  February 25, 2015
  2. Applications Due:  Wednesday, March 4, 2015 For physician-scientists with the MD or MD/PhD
  3. Letters of Intent Due:  February 27, 2015
  4. Applications Due:  Friday, March 6, 2015
  • The Brown-Coxe Fellowships support new postdoctoral fellows conducting research at the Yale University School of Medicine.
  • Candidates must have received the MD, PhD, or other doctoral degree by July 1, 2015.
  • Applicants cannot have completed more than two years of postdoctoral research as of July 1, 2015.
  • Investigators in all disciplines conducting basic, translational, or clinical research are eligible for this fellowship. 
  • No citizenship restrictions.

Society in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship

Society in Science – The Branco Weiss Fellowship is a unique postdoc program. It awards young researchers around the world with a generous personal research grant, giving them the freedom to work on whatever topic they choose anywhere in the world, for up to five years.  This research fellowship is designed to support postdoctoral researchers after their PhD and before their first faculty appointment. Those in current postdoctoral positions are also eligible.
